THE ART OF BEAUTY WHILE ENFORCING DISCIPLINE
Submissive Positions:
Dominant/submissive relationships often follow protocol and rituals to aid communication and act as a form of enforcing discipline which in turn makes the sub feel controlled/owned, the submissive positions which we’re looking at fall into the ritual section.
Rituals are about symbolism, consisting of an action or a series of actions performed according to a particular Dominant/Master.
For example: When a sub kneels before their dominant with correct attitude and form. That truly has great meaning. Submissive positions can also be used simply for display purposes, as an art of beauty. If a dominant enjoys viewing a sub in a particular position, the sub is pleasing them by just assuming that position for their viewing pleasure.

It is the duty of the dominant to establish several positions for their sub to learn and use, these will be useful for effectively managing and enabling the sub to better serve, obey and please their dominant.
Here are some examples of basic submissive positions generally used in BDSM.
As a dominant it’s important to not overlook the usefulness of submissive positions in the managing of the subs actions and making life easier and simpler. With one word or hand gesture a dominant places a sub in a position that is useful and/or pleasing to them and reduces the amount of instructions that are needed to direct their actions.
Submissive positions can be used to:
Force the sub to concentrate on their position and body.
Give the sub a feeling of helplessness and remind them of their status in the lifestyle.
Help the sub learn patience.
Give easy access to the slave's body.
Allow the sub to show their submission and devotion.
Show the sub's body off.
Allow the sub's body to be examined.
Put the sub in a position where something can be done to them.
Assist in the subs training by establishing a consistent, controlled behaviour.
Punish the sub.
Leave the sub in a position to await further commands.
Subs are not always in use, and may have a place and a position to wait patiently in. When a submissive is ordered to assume a position, they should do it quickly and gracefully and without questioning the reason.
